My Exchange at Fudan University
In the spring semester of 2024, I had the honor to come to China as an exchange student to study at Fudan University. This period not only broadened my academic horizon, but also made me deeply feel the Chinese culture and life.
During my stay in Fudan University, I took many elective courses related to my major, such as new media art, media fusion, vocabulary and vocabulary teaching, and General theory of Chinese culture. The quality of teaching at Fudan University is extremely high, and the professors are not only deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields, but also deeply concerned with the understanding and growth of students. In class, I had in-depth discussions and exchanges with students from around the world, which greatly benefited me.
In the campus life of Fudan University, I not only have the opportunity to experience the learning and lifestyle of Chinese students, but also to exchange each other’s culture and life experience with them. Various club activities and cultural programs provided by the school have enriched my campus life and allowed me to better integrate into the big family. In Shanghai, I also had the opportunity to taste a variety of authentic Chinese food and feel the hospitality of Chinese people.
This exchange experience made me more independent and confident. Facing classmates from different countries, I learned to respect and tolerate, and better understand and appreciate the differences between different cultures. I have also made great progress in language, being fluent in daily communication and able to express my thoughts and opinions in Chinese. This valuable experience not only allowed me to make a breakthrough in my studies, but also enriched my life experience and became a valuable asset for my future development. All in all, the exchange experience in Fudan University is a precious memory in my life. During this time, I not only gained knowledge, but also made many friends and experienced different cultures. These will be valuable assets in my future life and career.
