Introduction
Kia ora!
I grew up in Hamilton and moved to Tāmaki Makaurau in 2021 to study a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Population Health) and Bachelor of Science (Psychology) conjoint. I’m currently in my third year and have discovered my passion for public health, which led me to apply for the Intercultural Approaches for Public Health programme. In the future, I would love to contribute to public health research and public health policy in Aotearoa.
When I’m not studying, you’ll probably find me getting involved with various clubs on campus or testing out a new recipe in the kitchen. I am a Media Representative for the Auckland University Population Health Students Association and a Director of Marketing for the Women in Health Network. These two roles helped me discover my love for social media marketing!
I can’t wait to embark on this journey of refreshing my Spanish knowledge and learning about Chile’s public health system.
