Introduction

Kia ora! My name is Jumana and I am currently in my third year of a LLB / BA conjoint majoring in Psychology.

I’m beyond excited to be a part of the PMSA Global Internship Programme and to represent the University of Auckland and Aotearoa on this global adventure!

My passion for human rights and social justice has been a driving force in my studies and personal life. I believe this experience is a fantastic opportunity for me to dive deeper into these interests while learning about the world from a new perspective.

Growing up in New Zealand and experiencing our nation’s multiculturalism has been an immense privilege for me. This background has fueled my curiosity about other cultures and my eagerness to share my own. I believe that cultural exchange is a powerful way to connect with people and broaden our understanding of the world and I’m really looking forward to being able to do that on this journey.

I am especially excited to experience first hand the beautiful and vibrant culture in India, and of course the delicious food! I’m looking forward to all the new experiences, insights, and growth that this journey will bring.

I can’t wait to share my adventures and learnings with you all through this blog. Stay tuned for updates as I embark on this amazing journey!
