Introduction
Kia Ora, I’m Hayley! I am studying a conjoint degree in Law (Honours) & Global Studies at the University of Auckland, majoring in Global Politics, Human Rights, and French.
I have always been fascinated by cultures, religions, and languages, so it goes without saying that I am incredibly excited to embark on a 6-week internship in Mumbai! I look forward to learning more about India’s policies and legal approaches to current issues. This scholarship will be beneficial in teaching me how to assess international approaches and modify them to our context in Aotearoa, which is vital in tackling complex issues.
I cannot wait to represent Aotearoa while embracing India’s rich culture and customs.
