PMSA Reimagining India (December 2019)

The University of Auckland partnered with IndoGenius to deliver a one-of-a-kind programme in India to its students.

Learning is best achieved through real-world experiences. Using India’s cities and villages as our classroom, Reimagining India takes student learning out of the lecture hall. This program combines an incredible range of site visits with expert interactions and workshops. Over four weeks, these students will attend sessions at multinationals, startups, NGOs and more. They will visit rural villages, urban slums and ancient cities. Along the way, students will be able to consider India’s significant cultural influence and explore its innovative contributions to global challenges.

From gaining insight into modern India to developing a range of new skills, the Reimagining India programme will be an action-packed month. Participants will interact with 20+ local and international organisations in Bangalore, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai and Pondicherry: – On-site visits and talk with industry experts from various sectors; – Government bodies, including the New Zealand High Commission; – Visits to prestigious institutions to meet students and learn about their entrepreneurial businesses and ideas; – On-site visits and activities with social enterprises. – Meetings and networking events with business leaders at their corporate offices and interact with the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystem.

Students will leave India bursting with new ideas, experiences, and inspiration to help you carve out their future studies and career paths.
