Tessa Barker
KU Leuven, Belgium
Introduction
Kia ora! My name is Tessa, and for semester one of 2024 I’m headed to KU Leuven in Belgium to study law. When reading my blog, you should expect to hear about trilingualism, raspberry beer, and Tintin. Don’t know what those things have in common? You better get reading then, and welcome to Belgium!
A little more about me- 2024 will be my fifth year at the University of Auckland, hence me feeling like a little change of scene, as much as Munchy Mart holds a special place in my heart. I like poetry, crafts of all sorts, learning Chinese, and the idea of the longest bar in Europe (hel-LO Leuven…). I was born in England but my family moved to NZ when I was one, so in this blog you can definitely expect a Eurostar trip to London too.
I’ll be travelling with my partner Fin, and we’ve heard through the grapevine that we’re the first ever students to be OE-ing to Leuven… so hot new content for the 360 International blog? We think so. 😉
