Introduction

Kia ora! My name is Cyrus, and I’ll be a digital exchange ambassador, travelling to Keio University in Tokyo, Japan in March 2024! 

I am currently studying my final year of a BCom/BSci, majoring in Psychology and Marketing, with a Certificate of Languages in Korean. 

This will be my third ‘exchange’ opportunity, following an internship in Bangkok [link to PMSA blog], and a semester exchange in Semester 1, 2023 at Korea University. Those experiences have been life-changing, and I cannot wait to share what Japan can offer you for exchange. 

While overseas, I aim to build friendships that will last beyond my time abroad, such as through the Keio University Tomodachi “buddy” programme, or any events and opportunities that may arise. 

While you follow my stories, you’ll notice my love for food above all else. Tokyo is a culinary melting pot, and I cannot wait to dive in. From 7-11 to A5 Wagyu, there is something for everyone, even at our student budget. I’ll be sure to give you my best recommendations, fueled by my matcha addiction, and tonkatsu cravings.
