Introduction

Kia Ora!

I’m Beatrice (she/her), an international student at UoA studying International Relations and Business Analytics. I’m originally East European from Moldova, a tiny country even smaller than New Zealand, but I grew up in Italy. I studied for two years in the United Kingdom before coming to New Zealand for my Bachelor’s degree. Now, I’m headed to Singapore for an exchange semester at Nanyang Technological University. I cannot wait to add this destination to my international journey!

When visiting a new country, I love discovering the little things about its culture. Museums are cool and all, but have you ever visited a grocery store? Fascinating cultural experience. I also enjoy experiencing other countries through their food, architecture, and art. As the unofficial photographer behind many of my friends’ favourite pictures, I am ready to fill my camera roll while in Singapore. If you’re considering applying for an exchange, considering Singapore, or even considering NTU, I hope my experience will encourage you to take this step!

Talk to you later, B.

Plus, it’s all delicious, so of course I…Continue…
