My name is Athena, and I am currently in my second year studying a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in psychology and biological sciences. For my exchange semester, I will be attending the Winter and Spring Quarters at the University of California, Irvine – right in the heart of Orange County, just 40 minutes away from Los Angeles!
I’ve always known that after my studies I wanted to travel, so being given the opportunity to go on exchange felt like the perfect first step to take to be outside my comfort zone. I’m excited to experience life in a new environment, meet people from all over the world, and challenge myself to adapt to unfamiliar surroundings. One of my biggest goals is to solo travel around the USA after my final exams.
I am beyond excited to be documenting my journey of studying abroad with you all, and I hope my experiences inspire and entertain you.
