Hello, I’m Margret! I have recently completed my Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Psychology at the University of Waikato. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity to explore indigenous worlds beyond Aotearoa and the Pacific.
I looked through the photos of the 2020 cohort and read their blogs on the 360international website, and it really inspired me to give it a go. I pictured myself being a part of this amazing kaupapa, and here I am, a recipient of the PMSLA – Indigenous Rights and History to Brazil.
I am excited to be immersed in Brazil’s culture and history. This opportunity aligns with my passion, purpose, and vision to advocate for Indigenous Human rights. It will be an experience of a lifetime, and I cannot wait to share my blogs and photos with my family and friends and inspire others to become global ambassadors.
I am honoured to use this platform to connect and share my passion for indigenous rights with others. I am so glad to be sharing this experience with my 2023 cohort.
