Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, Reimagining India Study Tour
Introduction
Kia ora! My name is Alex. I went to school in Christchurch but am now studying in the capital at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. I am studying towards an LLB/BA. My arts major is in International Relations, and my minors are Political Science and French.
I applied for the Reimagining India Study Tour because I am interested in understanding how India’s rich culture has been infused into its innovative problem-solving for global issues. India is faced with some of the most challenging global issues of the 21st century.
I am excited to meet organisations and community groups at the forefront of understanding what solutions their country and communities need while weaving India’s rich culture and heritage into their decision-making. I hope to use what I learn to gain a deeper insight into what it means to use my legal studies in overseas organisations.
